It took me about 45 minutes or more at 400 degrees. they are best when they are well browned as the sugars caramelize. Sorry I did not respond sooner, i did not know you had posted a comment. I have fixed it so I get notified whenever someone posts a comment.

-RobinRobinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16230283853460578656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1695325499248885493.post-42959623584330582242009-03-25T09:05:00.000-04:002009-03-25T09:05:00.000-04:00janny, Ah, my plan is succeeding!! I made them last night and Sebastian happily gobbled them up, Julian refused them. I would have thought he was an impostor but he was still begging for vegetables at the co-op earlier in the day.

btw, I cooked them at 400 degrees yesterday and turned on the timer, I cooked them for 45 minutes! They were very well drenched in olive oil first.

-RobinRobinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16230283853460578656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1695325499248885493.post-86475248805541231642009-03-17T13:43:00.000-04:002009-03-17T13:43:00.000-04:00Gave these a shot last night. My timing was 400 deg for 15-ish minutes with one good shake at abut the 10 min mark. I can't WAIT for more brussel sprouts! Oh, heavens, what have you done......?jannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02633360432704612789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1695325499248885493.post-50181788225275504112009-03-02T21:05:00.000-05:002009-03-02T21:05:00.000-05:00Posted before I was done: I liked 'em fine this wa...Posted before I was done: I liked 'em fine this way, and look forward to trying 'em again -- words I never thought I'd say about Brussels sprouts. I didn't pay attention to the time either, but it took the same length of time it took three large chicken breasts to cook about 100 degrees...

Next time I'll be more patient and let the sprouts get a little browner; mine weren't as done as the pic o' yours indicates.

Loved the crispy loose leaves.

Barb liked them just as they were, but she's much better about green vegetables than I am.teegevthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07160303102627461598noreply@blogger.com
